This has only happened twice before in the HISTORY of Disney Cruise Line — the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder meet in Castaway Cay. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the Wonder bumped up its departure date to Wednesday instead of its usual Thursday sailing. Due to this unusual scheduling where the Magic was double dipping at Castaway Cay on Friday and the Wonders changed schedule the captains of both ships thought it would be neat to meet. So, they worked together to create a magical moment where the Wonder would pass by Castaway Cay and have each ships horns blowing. It was a great moment for passengers on the Wonder and better for those of us on Castaway Cay to see both ships saluting each other.

From La Pesca we head south towards Tecolutla. On the way we diverted at Aldama and headed many km eastward to the beach. We’d heard there was a Kemp’s ridley (tortuga lora) conservation station there & we hoped to find it. My guess is they don’t get too many visitors, as we seemed to frighten them to bits. The work was going great, they told us. They were going to break a substantial record number of releases this season. Very friendly to us - they nontheless DIDN’T invite us to the lunch they were frying onions over … Now that just strikes me as sad. “Que triste.”

Collins Family Vacation 2008 Good Night, Tecolutla

This is a film of how we spent some of our evenings in Tecolutla. Just a bunch of good eating and driving around. No sea turtles in this movie except one, single photo of a statue commemorating sea turtles in Tecolutla’s town square. This year we found the town square/el zocalo had been repaved in beautiful bricks and it’s pretty much completely a pedestrian mall now, full of food merchants and tourist stalls as well as music and some artisans. Delicioso y bello, el zocalo is the place to be after the sun goes down.

Adams Family Caribbean Carnival Cruise 08

Cool slide show of an Western Caribbean Carnival Cruise. Departed from Ft. Lauderdale Florida to Costa Maya/Mexico, Cozumel/Mexico, Belize/Central America, and Isla Roatan/Honduras back to Ft. Lauderdale. We traveled on the Carnival Miracle vessel. It was an 8 day trip from Dec. 15-23. We had a GREAT time and if you have never gone on a cruise then you owe it to yourself at least once in a lifetime. We hope you enjoy viewing this documentary of our travels as much as we enjoyed being there!

Mariner of the Seas - April 2008 Spring Break Cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas. We were a group of 12 from Snellville GA, Stratford CT & Rochester NY. This was a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise with stops in Labadee, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Our excursions included the Dragon’s Breath Flight Line in Labadee, Shaw Park Beach in Jamaica, Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman and Catamaran snorkel & beach break in Cozumel. Group includes Spring Breakers from Brookwood High School in Snellville, GA 30078. Gwinnett County. The Mariner is part of Royal Caribbean’s Voyager class of ships which includes the Navigator of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas and Adventure of the Seas. All of these ships have the same floor plan. Best vacation ever! A cruise is the best choice for a family vacation. Camera used: Nikon D40
