Peru Tours & Vacations - Manu - Fertur Peru

MANU WILDLIFE CENTER 04 DAYS/3 NIGHTS (MWC 01)

DAY 1 MANU WILDLIFE CENTER
Early morning our representative will pick you up from your hotel to transfer to Cusco airport. A thirty-five minute flight in a radar-equipped plane takes you to Boca Manu. Here you take a motorized canoe for the 90 minutes journey down the Madre de Dios River to Manu Wildlife Center to arrive for lunch. The afternoon will be spent exploring some of the 30 miles of clean forest trails that surround the lodge. On these trails you have an excellent chance to encounter some of the 12 species of monkeys, which include the Monk Saki and Emperor Tamarin, which inhabit the surrounding forest. After dinner you will have a short night excursion to explore nocturnal life in the rainforest. (L/D)

DAY 2 MACAWCLAY LICK /TAPIR CLAY LICK
Rising before dawn, we take a 25 minute boat journey downstream to the only large parrot and macaw clay lick in the Manu area. From a floating catamaran blind we are afforded excellent views and photo opportunities of hundreds of medium-sized and large parrots arriving first at the lick, followed by the large Red-and-Green Macaws arriving to eat the clay. Please note that the clay lick is not as active in May, June and July. After lunch at the Center we continue to explore the forest trails surrounding the lodge, and plan to spend the late afternoon up a 34 meter canopy platform. Here, we watch the last frantic activity in the rainforest canopy, or rush hour, before night settles. We can return for dinner back at the Center, or pack our meal for the leisurely hike about 60-75 minutes through the night forest to the Amazon’s largest known Tapir clay lick. Here we climb a 17-by-17 foot observation platform perched almost 20 feet above the lick itself where we wait for the lumbering Tapirs to arrive. Then, using powerful flashlights we hope to observe and photograph them in action. (B/L/D)

DAY 3 EXCURSION TO COCHA BLANCO
After another early morning departure by boat and short hike from the river, you have what promises to be an exciting visit to Blanco Oxbow Lake. This lake has populations of a variety of aquatic life and water birds, including the prehistoric-looking hoatzin and the possibility to see the resident family of giant otters. After returning for lunch at the Center your guide is available to further explore the forest trails for more wildlife encounters. Alternatively, time is available to independently practice your abilities and experience this expanse of rainforest habitats on your own. This evening, from the late afternoon until after dinner, we offer an opportunity to search for caiman and other nocturnal life along the riverbank by boat. (B/L/D)

DAY 4 DEPARTURE DAY
After early breakfast, we leave near dawn by motor canoe for the two hour return trip to the Manu landing strip, taking advantage of valuable early morning wildlife activity along the river. From here you fly to Cusco, where your jungle adventure ends. Arrival at Cusco Airport, reception and transfer to your hotel. (B)

(B) Breakfast, (L) Lunch, (D) Dinner

Travel video put together with iMovie from still photographs. These were taken in March of 2005. We travelled to the southern coast of Spain and stayed at a timeshare in Malaga. We took day trips to Granada to visit the Alhambra, to Seville to see the gardens and site of the Palacio de Justico, and Rhonda where the oldest bull ring in Spain is situated. It was the wrong season for bullfighting and the ring was not open when we visited. Spain is a wonderful vacation spot and the people there are friendly, the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend a visit there. The music selection is The Aranjuez concert, by Joaquin Rodrigo from the album Concierto Guitarra Española.

Thunder Bay, Ontario. Global Resorts Team Leader Marcel Tardif shares his 5 BALANCED LIFESTYLE TIPS
People love to travel. Baby Boomers love luxury travel for less. Global Resorts Network provides a membership for people to do both. Global Resorts Network has now become Marcels home based business. It entails online marketing, a fully automated system that does the email for you and we even have a virtual assistant to answer most of your phone calls, great support from GRN Teambuilder.com. Being an Entrepreneur with an internet business is giving Marcel the freedom to live a balanced lifestyle.
HEALTHY BODY LIFESTYLE — Ever since I was a child I was fascinated by the marine environment and dreamed of becoming a scuba diver. While I was a young adult I required multiple back surgeries and found that scuba diving was of benefit for me. I needed a career that was back friendly. After becoming a scuba instructor my wife and I opened up a dive Shop, however after 9/11 the industry suffered a great deal and we had to close the shop. Since then I have worked in many business management positions, however none have lasted to my satisfaction. Working at home with this business will allow me the flexibility to be easy on my back in the healthy body lifestyle, as well as allow for travel opportunities which is always opportunity for scuba. POSITIVE MIND LIFESTYLE— The need to work is a strong drive for me. I have a great entrepreneurial background, and couldn’t find a position that would give me “JOB SATISFACTION” and be able to contribute to paying down the household debt. Working with Global Resorts Networks I have revived myself. FAMILY SHARING LIFESTYLE — My wife and I share our home with a dog (Shelby) and 2 cats Oscar and Cassie, and a father in law. We have a wonderful extended family that live close and some we see only if time & travel permits. Getting together and sharing with our family is extremely important. Previous careers left me with little family time, or I was attached to a cell phone on call 24 / 7. Working at a business that allows time flexibility means more family time and more walks with my dog! ECO-FRIENDLY LIFESTYLE — Have you noticed the price of gas lately? Of course you have. I was searching for a home based business I could do for many reasons - and one was to reduce my carbon footprint. Luckily GRN is an ECO Friendly business. FINANCIAL FREEDOM LIFESTYLE — My dream lifestyle is to live fully with my wife and family - to be able to tell my wife she can now work part time after working full time for 26 years - to be able to have time to do volunteer work - time to travel. All these lifestyle goals require financial security. Global Resort Network is the way for me to reach my financial freedom.

La Costa Resort

Author: admin
11 14th, 2008

If you’re looking for a coastal California retreat that appeals to mom, dad and the kids, the La Costa Spa Resort is hard to beat.

Veronica Hill of California Travel Tips tours this gorgeous Mission-style beach resort, known for its world-class luxury spa, tennis courts, golf courses and own private water park.

Located just 15 miles north of San Diego and 10 minutes from sunny Carlsbad beach, La Costa Resort has been drawing sports luminaries and movie stars since its opening in 1965, and is one of the most popular spa hotels in the county.

Tiger Woods is no stranger to La Costa’s two championship Dick Wilson golf courses, while Venus Williams and Maria Sharapova have claimed titles at the resort’s world-class tennis center and clay courts.

But what makes this the best family vacation destination in northern San Diego county is Splash Landing, an awesome water park that combines three fast-moving water slides with a great water park for tots.

If that wasn’t enough there are eight separate pools competing for your attention. Toddlers will surely enjoy the warm 3-foot kiddie pool with its sandy shore and beach toys, while adults can soak up the sun or rent a private cabana at the resort pool.

Teens are sure to enjoy the Vibz lounge, packed with tons of activities from air hockey and pool tables to the latest video games.

In 2006, La Costa completed a $140 million dollar renovation, adding two gourmet restaurants, redesigned Mission-style guest rooms and a new, 43,000-square-foot luxury spa and salon. It’s no wonder this is one of California’s hottest spots for destination weddings.

Spa at La Costa pampers guests with its serene courtyard pool and strawberry-seed body exfoliations, while Deepak Chopra and David’s Simon’s world-renowned Chopra Center specializes in daily yoga and Ayurvedic spa therapies.

One of the best kept secrets is the Chopra Center’s complimentary meditation sessions, offered twice daily.

It’s a great way to start or end your day at this luxury 400-acre resort.
