What are the Best family resorts in Phukett, Thailand with a family atmosphere and reasonably priced?
Hoping to find something for two weeks that doesn't break the bank..lol
Phuket has different beaches. Patong in the most busy, popular family hotels are Holiday Inn, Merlin, Patong beach Hotel, Duangjitt and many others:

Karon Beach and Kata are other popular beaches. Ramada at Karon beach has a good kid's club and is reasonable in price. On the beach is the Karon beach resort
At Kata there is the Kata beach resort, the Centara Kata is very good and reasonable in price

With fimily? Maybe you should try Krabi. It is very nice nice there and all the island and boat trip are closer to Ao nang Than phuket (ao nang in Krabi).
Family resort you can find cheap ones like 10 euro to 25 euro each room. Im sure if you are on the beach once in a while you will miss Air-conditioner if you are not on super budget trip.maybe visit a bit of Railey beach but stay in Tonsai take boat trip snokkle a bit. Restearent are cheap too.
Phuket have some nice places as well but the sea in Krabi is not as crazy as Phuket.

I'd recommend Woraburi Phuket Resort. Relatively cheap and great value for the money. I specially recommend the rooms with pool access. That is pure luxury and my child loved it. A nice hotel with good service, staff are very friendly to us. I stay in 4 and 5 star hotels all over the world and from my perspective, this hotel was surprisingly good in every way! Why Phuket? Ever think about Koh Chang Island? Much, much cheaper than Phuket and not as touristy and over priced.
Check out http://www.visualthailand.com. There are over 325 2008 photos from Koh Chang and this is an ideal beach location for a family vacation.
Not only do you have the beach, there are excellent waterfalls, elephant treks, boat trips to other nearby islands, snorkeling and diving, motorbike rentals to tour the island and a host of other family oriented things to do.
The cost will be much less than Phuket and the experience 10 times better.
