What are some recommendations for good family all-inclusive resorts in Southern Europe for this winter?
We have an <2 year old, and really would like a place with baby day care
All spanish Islands, and mainland and Portugal are not winter destinations-winter destinations are the Canaries, and if you want to go further afield Cape Verdi is., which are a 5 hour flight from the uk.
It has 24 hour service, including bars!, there are 2 Riu hotels on the island that cater for more or less everything. A little bit more money, but so worth it. Fantastic kids clubs and entertainment every night if you get the night off from being mum and dad.
Or, in the Canaries, the best 2 islands for families are Lanzarote, or FUERTEVENTURA! They have the best water parks in the world…but some close in oct. and open in may.
If you need any more help on resorts, email me and I get my girlfriend to get back to you when she is more complis mentis.

Costa Teguise, in Lanzarote is the place for All inclusive Family Holidays. Its not bustly or commercialised, and the weather will be perfect for a baby; warm with a gentle breeze. We stayed at Lanzarote Bay in Teguise and the services and facilities were first rate. Its not too expensive either and theres some beautiful local scenery to check out.
BTW Lanzarote is in the Canary Islanda
