What is the best value in family cruises?
Would prefer to cruise out of Boston or New York.
To me, it seems like Carnival offers the best options when it comes to family cruises, because it's not just about the kids, it's for the adults too. The cruise we will be going on next year has activities for kids to do while the parents have their alone time. It's kind of like a day camp and I believe they offer some sort of baby sitting service. They also have activities for the adults, such as dancing, gambling, spa, etc. I saw that Norwegian has more departures than Carnival from New York when going to the Caribbean and they appear to be cheaper, but I don't know so much about that cruiseline. And Norwegian also sails from Boston.

Carnival. Easy to find things for the kids to do while everyone else can have a good time.
