The wilderness is awesome. You really don't have to leave the hotel for anything. Plus It's not too far away from anything.
But you should deffinately go down main street because there is lots of stuff to do there. Also go on the Boats because they are also really fun. I loved all the gocart tracks at mt. olympus and the rolercosters there are really exilarating.
