Without consulting the family while leaving Marty and Jennifer alone, Doc takes Clara and the boys back to medieval times to escape the technology that he feels his family has become so reliant upon. Once there, Clara is kidnapped by the evil Lord Biffingham and Doc is thrown into the dungeon. Jules and Verne meet up with Harold McFly, whose lady love, Jennivere, has also been kidnapped by Lord Biffingham. The boys and Harold arrive at the castle in time to witness a “jousting” match between the Lord and Doc. Clara escapes from the tower and makes a hot air balloon out of silk and a tapestry loom. A true heroine, she rescues Doc and foils Biffingham’s evil scheme. Doc realizes that he should consult her before making anymore decisions for the family.

Therese Yelverton (c. 1832-1881) was a British Author. She married Major William Charles Yelverton, Viscount Avonmore in 1857, and became Therese Yelverton, Viscountess Avonmore. Her family’s small fortune was robbed by her husband, so she supported herself by writing about her travels. She spent the summer of 1870 in Yosemite, where she attached herself to the Hutchings family and John Muir. He escaped to the woods, but not before she had noted enough of his conversation and his ways of life to make him over into Kenmuir, the hero of her novel. After Yosemite, she continued to tour the world and write about her adventures. Her works include Zanita: A Tale of the Yo-semite (1872).

Rules on How to Survive Family Vacations

I made the list today when I was board. I came up with the rules in school today (Yes! I still have school. but only two more days!) So I made Chrissa say them because I can’t show my face. I got the ideas from the rules from things that happened on family trips. Like how some people who were sitting next to each other got soaking wet, while others didn’t. That’s why we call them ‘Water Magnets’
