What is a good family vacation with teens?

My family and I have been looking for a good vacation for a while now. I have two teen daughters ages 15 and 12. We would preferably like to stay in the country. Also, a warmer climate may be ideal for us. Thanks in advance.
I don't know what kind of money your looking at but you can't go wrong with someplace like disney world. You have tropical weather, first class hotels. The theme parks themselves lend themselves to adults and teens (particularly newer rides like expidition everest). A cruise would work as well, but would not be as fun I imagine for the 12 year old. Consider vegas. i know it's not generally thought of as a family spot, however it's changed it's colors over the years. There are rides, zoo's, a great arcade. The m&m store as well as the cka cola store. The last time I vistited I spent a week and gambled for less than an hour. There are stunt shows, car shows. We saw pen and teller, cirque du solei "Ka" (which I higly recomend) Lance burton. Just keep the kids in after say 9:00 when the escort flyers start getting passed out hehe. There is a lot of family entertainment there. If you folks like rides, you could visit the los angeles area and tour the varoious theme parks (disneyland/universal studios/ knotts berry farms/ magic mountain). Or even (if yoru daughters are into wildlife) vistit he san diego zoo and wild animal park which are the best of their type in the nation.
To give better or other ideas I would have to know more about yoru kids. If you are the outdoorsy types consider a rafting trip (not heavy white water but something for beginers) it could be combined into a camping/ see the wide open america type trip. I generally wouldn't recomend much sight seeing for daughters age 12 to 15. A lot of parents think their kids would love to see the grand canyon etc, but at that age they generally don't. However yours could be the exception. The fifteen year old is likely to dislike anything that drags her away from her friends unless you put her in a situation where she is doing something she enjoys/ or can socialize with others of her bracket. The twelve year old wil ussually need something that keeps her fairly active (as in visting musuems probably won't cut it) but every family is different. If the kids are science geeks that florida trip to dsneyworld could easily also include a visit to the kennedy space center. If they dig animals they might want to check out the gatorland zoo in the same area (you can actaully eat crocodile there).
I hope some of those suggestions are helpfull and have fun this summer. (biggest problem with vacations is the stress of planning them)
